Spinney Park Cleanup Day March 21, 2004 - South planting bed before Neighbor Power: A huge thank you to the 20+ volunteers of all ages who gave up 2 hours of a beautiful, sunny Sunday to help plant 136 native plants and shrubs in Spinney Park, clean up the garbage and overgrown grass under the 116th Ave. kiosk, and haul and spread two huge loads of wood chips. You guys are awesome! A special thanks to Julia for organizing the event and selecting and purchasing the plants.
