Connect with Council at LWTech on April 28

Conversations with Council

Join the City of Kirkland for the next Conversations with Council event, part of a community engagement program offering casual, monthly opportunities for you to connect with your City Councilmembers at locations across Kirkland.

All are welcome at these drop-in sessions, which are designed for open dialogue — without agendas or presentations. You are encouraged to B.Y.O.T. (Bring Your Own Topic)™, ask questions, and share ideas on the issues that matter most to you. Since launching in January 2026, nearly 50 community members have participated. If you haven’t yet had a chance to join, the new slate of events this quarter offers plenty of opportunities to take part.

📍 Next up: Lake Washington Institute of Technology

Our first event of Q2 is Tuesday, April 28, from 12-2 p.m. at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Whether you’re a student, neighbor, employee, or just in the area, you are invited to stop by and join the conversation.

Location notes: We will gather just inside the Mall entrance /cafeteria seating area on the first floor of the East Building , below parking lot/street level. Park in the South Lot and use the descending stairs or ADA entrance (between the South and West Lots) to access.
