Our Community

The Highlands Neighborhood Association (HNA) is a community-led nonprofit dedicated to making our corner of Kirkland a great place. As one of the City of Kirkland’s thirteen official neighborhood associations, we serve as the bridge between residents and local government.

What We Do

We believe a great neighborhood doesn’t just happen—it’s built through active participation and local pride. Our mission focuses on three core pillars:

• Community Events: Bringing neighbors together through seasonal gatherings and local celebrations.
• Civic Engagement: Keeping you informed and involved in the local affairs that impact your daily life.
• City Advocacy: Partnering with Kirkland city officials to improve infrastructure, safety, and overall livability.
