The second week of April is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week — a time to recognize the vital role of 9-1-1 dispatchers in every emergency response. In an emergency, the first voice you hear is often a dispatcher. They gather critical information, provide calm and clear instructions, and help guide callers through stressful situations while dispatching first responders to help.
